Mario Fuentes Zaragoza, a fourth-generation propane marketeer, brings a profound depth of experience to TEXAS GAS & LIQUIDS DOWNSTREAM. Originating from a legacy that began in 1943 with his great-grandfather, the business flourished under his grandfather’s visionary leadership to become the largest propane distributor in Mexico.
Under the mentorship of his grandfather, Mario joined the family business at an early age, acquiring extensive experience across the entire propane supply chain. His expertise encompasses negotiating contracts with producers, refineries, and brokers, as well as managing logistics for transporting propane from suppliers to company-owned terminals throughout Mexico, Central, and South America.
Mario's dedication to continuous education in the oil and gas industry ensures he remains at the forefront of industry advancements and best practices.

TEXAS GAS & LIQUIDS DOWNSTREAM SERVICES was established in El Paso, Texas, by Mario Fuentes Zaragoza
The Zaragoza Family boasts extensive expertise in the propane industry across the United States, Mexico, and Central America. As the largest propane exporter to Mexico and Central America and the leading distributor to end users in these regions, the family business operates with complete self-sufficiency.
This is achieved through the ownership and operation of a comprehensive fleet of trucks, transports, bobtails, cylinder delivery vehicles, propane storage distribution facilities and state-of-the-art propane cylinder filling facilities.
Additionally, the infrastructure includes strategically located rail and waterborne propane storage terminals, along with tank and cylinder manufacturing facilities.
